How To | Pumpkin Puree

Aloha Beauties!

Today’s post is going to be a little bit boring as it involves making Pumpkin puree. It’s something very easy to make if you have the time and it can be used for many things. One of which is ‘Pumpkin Face Mask’ which will be posted tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled!

As I have a few posts coming up that involves pumpkin puree, I wanted to first share with you guys how easy it is to make. That way, I can include a link in my posts to follow to help you guys along. Plus, Tinned Pumpkin is a little trickier to get your hands on in the UK!!

So with out further  a do, here’s how to make, Pumpkin Pure…

Ingredients
Pumpkin ( I used a large pumpkin from Morrison’s – some people say to use a sugar pumpkin but as they are next to impossible to get your hands on here in the UK, a carving pumpkin will do just as well! )

Method
STEP ONE – Cut your pumpkin in half/ or quarters. Make sure to remove the stork and of course remove all the insides. If you don’t want to be wasteful, check out How to | Roasted pumpkin seeds

STEP TWO – Place in a preheated oven at 400 Degrees/ Gas mark 6 for 50 – 70 Minutes, or until the pumpkin has become soft.

STEP THREE – Let the pumpkin cool down, and then remove the skin. Cut into cubes and using a blender, blend until pumpkin becomes a smooth puree.

DONE!

How easy was that! Make sure to follow/ like this post if you enjoyed. Aside from that, I hope you guys are having a great day.

Lots of Love,
